I'll never forget the time we took this photo in Africa. early one morning we were driving down a road when this gigantic female elephant suddenly appeared strolling right up to our car. She seemed curious and even thumped our hood just as I took her picture. I must admit I was thrilled and more than a little scared at the same time.
